Zoë Freedman
Chiropractor

Zoe graduated from the Anglo European College of Chiropractic in 2005 and has worked in private practice ever since. Shortly after graduation she completed a masters degree in paediatric musculoskeletal health. The postgraduate degree also included specific perinatal training. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Chiropractors.
Together with her husband John, Zoe completed training in animal chiropractic and is registered with the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association, RAMP register and the British Veterinary Chiropractic Association. Zoe also developed animal chiropractic education in the UK creating amendments that enables progressive qualifications for those that seek them.
John Fossey
MChiro PGCert PGDip (physiotherapy) DC DACNB
John initially trained as a physiotherapist qualifying in 1984. He then worked in private practice as well as for some prestigious sporting teams. In 2005 John graduated as chiropractor. John also completed a PGCert in Chiropractic Practice, extensive neurology training and examinations becoming a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Neurology Board and further training in animal chiropractic.
John has undertaken extensive training in neurology with the Carrick Institute. He now enjoys helping improve complex neurological problems as well as standard musculoskeletal concerns.
Outside of the clinic John enjoys lecturing, attending the gym regularly and time with his family. John is a keen chicken enthusiast and keeper!
Sarah Howarth
Chiropractor
Originally from Florida, USA Sarah has made the UK her home. Living at the coast with her Geordie husband and daughters, Sarah makes the most of the beautiful local scenery. Sarah has many strings to her bow but has a particular passion for paediatric and pregnancy chiropractic having achieved a prestigious qualification with the ICPA. Sarah is also qualified in animal chiropractic.
Sarah works at NGCO Clinic every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Suzy Morley
Massage Therapist & YogiBees Owner & Instructor
Suzy is available for massage appointments Monday and Tuesday. When she is not at NGCO she teaches children’s yoga in schools across North Tyneside and spends time with her partner and sons.
Nathan Pellow
Yoga Instructor
Nathan runs yoga classes and also one to one sessions at NGCO. He can work along other practitioners to help you achieve your wellness goals.
Nathan is available for group and one to one zoom yoga sessions.

Katie Purvis
Chiropractor
Katie graduated from the University of South Wales in 2024, and has since returned to her roots in the North East. Katie has a particular interest in paediatrics and pregnancy chiropractic, an area she is enthusiastic about and committed to advancing in her career.
Outside of the clinic, she has a passion for outdoor activities like mountain biking and trail running. Katie also has a profound love for dogs, especially her Cocker Spaniel companion, Finn.
Emma Richie
Massage Therapist
Emma qualified as a massage therapist in 2016 and has since built up a great tool box of techniques to help people of all ages and occupations.
Outside of work, Emma is a busy mum to two active children.
Whilst studying medicine at Newcastle University Emma is available at NGCO on Saturdays.
Don Salmon
Chiropractor
Dom is a graduate of the first chiropractic cohort from Teesside University and has a keen interest in neurology, pregnancy, paediatric and sport chiropractic. Dom has trained as a diversified chiropractor and is registered with the British Chiropractic Association. As a new member of the NGCO team Dom is looking forward to expanding his skillset and helping patients across the North East.
In his spare time Dom enjoys focusing on strength training in his home gym and appreciates time outdoors on long walks with his girlfriend and two Siberian huskies.
Suzanne Vernazza
Specialist Women’s and Pelvic Health Physiotherapist
Suzanne is passionate about pelvic health and is on a mission to dispel myths and get people talking more about it through the #squeeaealong campaigns on social media. At NGCO she offers expert and individual assessment and treatment for pelvic health conditions (including prolapse, incontinence, pregnancy issues, postpartum recovery and long standing pelvic girdle pain).
